Right across the street from Thrift Haven is Incredible Thrift. When you walk in, you are greeted by gently used china sets. All merchandise is organized in different rooms such as Children’s clothes, Men’s Clothes, Women’s clothes, Toys, Books, and more.
Proceeds from this store go to a program that takes homeless kids off the street, giving them purpose and a job. When I was in there, I actually got to meet two of the kids who graduated from the program and were back in the store, helping out. How cool is that? Seeing how donations and profits from the store making a tangible difference in these kids was a great reminder how significant our purchases are in the thrift community.
Incredible Thrift has a designer section where you can purchase different articles of clothing made by prominent designers for $4. They also have a room full of shoes and accessories that are waiting for new owners like yourself!
What did I buy? Nothing. They get new stuff in every Monday and I’m told they have a huge warehouse on Campbell. I, personally, haven’t been there, but heard it’s a lot bigger and has more merchandise. I plan on going to the warehouse someday soon to check out other items they have for sale.
