An elementary education student at Drury University, Jana Woodruff finds herself at the thrift store looking for good steals and deals on necessities for everyday life. “Usually, I’m looking for clothes. But I think this week, I found some other stuff,” says Woodruff.
This week, Woodruff went to Red Racks on Glenstone and brought back the following:
A pair of nude heels with gold-plated embellishments, (originally from Charlotte Russe)
“They were so cute and a decent price! I’m definitely wearing them sometime soon to a sorority formal or something. I brought them home and the heel is taller than I expected, but that’s what practice is for, right?” Absolutely.
And a bundle of brand new school supplies.
“This was just such a great deal. I got markers, watercolors, colored pencils, glue sticks, and more. I wish I could say that I’m saving this stuff for my future classroom, but, I can’t. I’ve definitely already used most of it. It’s fine.” In fact, Jana painted me a picture with her watercolors she bought that day.
We love the deals you got this week, Jana! You rock! Keep checking out your local thrift stores for similar finds and new treasures!
