Red Racks on Campbell has a multitude of items to choose from. I will say, this is one of the more overwhelming stores to rummage through. I’ve found really awesome items here in the past such as decorative candles (which my boyfriend claims need to be lit, but if they’re lit, then the candles lose their decoration and then I’ve defeated the purpose of buying them), Men’s flannel shirts, books and more.
Here’s what you can expect to find:
Pre-packaged items. These are items that range from candles to baskets to lunch boxes, anything really. I’m really not certain why there’s plastic around them. But this is when I got my cute decorative candles. If you have time to look through, you might find some treasures.
Frames. I feel like every thrift store has some frames and older art. I’ve started collecting older art to fill the walls in my room to give a homier feel.
Hair irons. Your hair iron will die in the most inconvenient times. And then you have to pay $20+ for a new one, which is never ideal. Try finding one here. Try plugging one in at the store to make sure it works before you take it home. And use a Clorox wipe to clean it before you use it. You don’t know who’s hair was on it last.
Mugs. I love buying mugs so much that I may or may not have filled up almost two shelves of mugs in my kitchen. I have a problem and should stop. But then again, people should stop getting rid of such awesome mugs.
Kitchen utensils: There’s this plastic set of drawers that categorizes what kitchen utensils you can buy. Look for utensils that are new and gently used. Avoid stains and always wash your utensils before using.
Ties and hats. This is the first display I’ve seen like this. Guys, if you’re needing a tie for a job interview or maybe a hat to protect you from the sun, this is the place to buy from. There’s a great variety of ties and hats. I found lots of fun, youthful ties too!
CDs. Red Racks has a giant tier of CDs. Buy a boom box. Stop paying $1.29 for a song on iTunes and get an album for $2.
Clothes. There are tons of men’s, women’s and children’s clothes here. This is a great place to look for winter coats. If you don’t want to splurge on a winter coat this season and save your money for more fun purchases (like Chipotle), then consider purchasing a gently-used coat here!
