Salvation Army is right next to Red Racks (DAV) on Campbell. Although a little unorganized, this place has consistent prices on most merchandise, as opposed to other thrift stores in Springfield.
Here’s what you can find:
Clothes. You can find a ton of clothes here. They all have consistent prices, with the exception of the designer clothes section. Those tend to be a little pricey.
Cleaning supplies. There are old vacuums, mops, brooms, etc. here at Salvation Army. I know vacuums aren’t cheap so this would probably be a good place to buy a gently used one if you find yourself needing to seamlessly clean up all of the confetti you threw celebrating your birthday last week or cleaning up a glitter spill.
Electronics. These are a few blurry pictures of some computer monitors and TVs. I’m not sure how much they would cost, but, make sure they work before you buy them!
Bikes. Who knew you could buy bikes at a thrift store? They might need new upgrades such as tires or pedals, but I’m sure buying parts to fix is cheaper than buying a whole new bike.
Kitchenware. Hands down, most organized kitchenware section. Lots of mugs and plate sets. A very good selection if you need cheap, good-quality, dishes.
Furniture. There’s a lot of different kinds of furniture here. Bed frames, entertainment centers, even this booth that I think came from an old Waffle House.
Art. There are a few pieces of art here that are worth looking at. Even if you don’t like the work, maybe the frames would be good for pictures?
